New Bed Nets Distributed in Sierra Leone

We greatly appreciate your support that has provided long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) to families and individuals in Freetown. Recently ten treated insecticides mosquito nets were distributed to children in Freetown, including to Ibrahim and Hannah pictured in this report.

Flood Affected Family Receives Ongoing Support

We greatly appreciate your on-going support that continues to bring hope to flood victims in Freetown. Many families in Sierra Leone were displaced due to the flooding and mudslide disaster that took place in August of 2017. The Dumbuya family lost everything including their youngest daughter in the flood disaster.

After the Ebola Epidemic, Develop Africa Sierra Leone set up a Tailoring Training Center for young ladies with the objective of helping young girls to learn sewing skills, empower themselves and become self-reliant.
